Basic Life Support (BLS)
Initial Certification Skills Test & Renewal
BLS, or Basic Life Support is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. The BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and others who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Initial Certification Skills Test & Renewal
The bodies of children and infants respond differently than those of adults. In life-threatening situations, it is critical that health professionals understand the best practices for treating pediatric patients.. Any healthcare professionals who have the potential to respond to emergencies involving children and infants should complete a PALS certification and continually refresh and review their skills.

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

The American Heart Association is always looking for others to host first aid, CPR, AED, BLS, PALS, ACLS trainings & classes. If you like to teach through hands-on training and can work in group settings becoming am American Heart Association trainer may be the perfect opportunity for you.
